The line between successful people and average joe’s is actually marginal. There isn’t a huge distinct separation. Crossing the line only requires tiny action steps or small changes in daily habits that compound over time. The small compounds are then deemed overnight success, when really it required work day in and day out.
You might be wondering what some of those small daily habits might be.
Today is a great day to introduce to one of the key aspects of building some serious wealth…and no, it’s not making a ton of money.
As the video mentions…the key to serious wealth building is contentment. The secret to your success is within you.
Instead of sitting around fighting with family about politics, religion, and Uncle “Joe,” spend some time truly saying thank you and appreciating the people around you.
Learning to be content with what you have while you are working for your goals is powerful. And freeing. It’s a very freeing experience to truly stop comparing your life to other people’s lives. Playing the game of who has the latest and greatest, what trip so-and-so when on, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends (for the sake of getting some IG likes), only hurts one person in the end…you.
You can’t start winning in life until you create your own rules. This includes going at your own pace and living a life you choose. Not one that society chooses for you.
Build the habit of being grateful for the little things and you will start to receive more of the little things.
Here are three ways I like to practice gratitude:
1. Keep a gratitude journal.
2. Take daily “thankful” walks where I appreciate nature and how perfect things work together.
3. Remind myself of how blessed I am throughout the day.
Always express gratitude.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for all of your love and support you’ve shown me this past year.
Best,
Ps. Enjoy some the food! One day won’t kill your waistline. 🙂
