You read that correctly. When I graduate in May 2015 (did you just hear angels singing?), I will have paid less than 500 bucks for my grad school. Part of my weirdness- if you’ve met me, you understand- is challenging social norms and experimenting with my personal life. I like to test my self imposed boundaries. So when people told me you can’t go to school without debt- I raised my eyebrows.
Challenge accepted.
There are always naysayers. The people that rain on your parade, pee in your pool, and ultimately have nothing nice to say. I lost track of how many people laughed at me when I said it was possible to go to school without a student loan and by golly, I was going to do it.
Be creative.
Think a little unconventionally.
There are multiple different ways to pay for school. Student loans are one of many. And in my opinion, the worst way to finance an education.
