Raise your hand if you are a 20-something trying to figure life out.
Yep, me too!
Your 20s are an interesting time in your life: going on countless dates, pursuing a college degree, multiple 2007 Britney Spears moments, figuring out what the heck your career will be, quarter-life crises (oh yes, these things are real!), self-discovery (turns out it’s never-ending), and being so broke you contemplated your parent’s couch.
I get it. Your 20s can be tough, real tough. As tough as they are, they are also one of most psychological and neurologically transformational periods in your entire life. They hold some of the best memories!
I fully understand the pressures, struggles and expectations we have for ourselves. We think in terms of “by the time I’m 30” and “life will be better when______.” We sometimes focus so much on the future, that we overlook the day-to-day opportunities. A lot of 20 somethings live in fast forward.
We focus so much on the getting the $100K salary, that we overlook creating a plan to retain as much of that $100K as possible. I meet with clients all the time that waited to plan for their money until they received bigger paychecks. There’s a problem with that mentality.
If you don’t take control of your money, you will end up in the same situation- with bigger payments.
One of my biggest lessons learned: Your 20s are challenging, but use this time to set your life up for a kick a** future! Get your financial life in order so future you will high-five twenty something you.
This video will provide you with 5 goals to conquer that will propel your life forward and make your future self proud.
