I LOVE DIY home improvement projects and lately, I’ve been sick of my bedroom.
I’m not in love with the bed, nightstands and dresser, but instead of selling the set and trying to buy a new one (which is not budget friendly), I decided to make do with what I had.
My new strategy- decorating! While I initially wanted to put the panels across the entire wall, it was starting to become too expensive, so I opted for a custom look with 8 single panels behind the night stands.
Watch the video to see the project in work. (I’m sure you’ll get a few laughs out of this one!)
Let’s talk costs:
- Fabric: $18 (a steal of a deal!)
- Foam: $45
- Board: $15
- Stapler: $11
Oh! I had Lowe’s cut the 4 x 8 board into 12 pieces, yes you will have extra (2 horizontal cuts, 3 vertical cuts). This saves a lot of time and your nose from being filled with sawdust.
Let me know what you think. 🙂
